Dr. Umang Mithal is a distinguished oncologist with a career that spans over three decades. His dedication to the field of oncology is evidenced by his numerous qualifications and extensive experience. He is committed to advancing cancer treatment and improving patient outcomes through innovative surgical techniques and compassionate care.

Dr. Mithal is recognized as a prominent Surgical Oncologist in Northern India. His foundational medical education includes a graduate and postgraduate degree from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, where he earned a Gold Medal in M.S. (Surgery). He further specialized in Surgical Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Since 1999, he has held senior consultant positions at major cancer hospitals in Delhi and the NCR region
As a Robotic Surgeon with a Fellowship from ARIS (accredited to the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh), Dr. Mithal has performed over 10,000 cancer surgeries, achieving results on par with top cancer centers. His clinical interests encompass a wide range of cancers, with particular expertise in Head & Neck Cancers (including laser surgeries and photodynamic therapy), Breast Cancer (oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery and sentinel lymph node biopsies), and Uro-Gynecological, Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, and Soft Tissue Cancers. He is a published author in numerous national and international journals and a sought-after speaker at conferences.
